Refund policy

Shadow Play Israel is operated by Lumino Bambino (Schmidt Mikel), a VAT-exempt small business (osek patur) registered in Israel, business ID 332330463, Dorif 17, Apt. 10, Ashkelon, Israel.

Cancelling an order

Under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law and the Consumer Protection Regulations (Cancellation of a Transaction), you may cancel a distance-selling purchase within 14 days of receiving the item. Write to us at info@shadowplay.co.il or on WhatsApp at +972-53-937-80-77 and include your order number.

Condition of returned items

The item must be unused, complete and in its original packaging, with no damage to the book, the shadow puppets or the box. Please include the order confirmation or a copy of it.

Who pays for the return

You arrange and pay for the return shipment. Return address: Dorit 17, Apt. 10, Ashkelon, Israel. Please contact us before sending anything back so that we know to expect the parcel. Items sent without prior notice may not be accepted.

The law permits us to deduct a cancellation fee of up to 5% of the price of the item or 100 ILS, whichever is lower. The original delivery fee of 32 ILS is not refunded.

Damaged, defective or wrong items

If your parcel arrives damaged, if an item is defective, or if you received the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and attach a photo. We will replace the item or refund it in full, including both the original delivery fee and the cost of sending it back. In this case you pay nothing.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item we will tell you the outcome. An approved refund is issued to the original payment method within 14 days. Your bank may need a few extra days to post it.
